Why do I do what I do? I have a deep love for creativity and art in many forms, and made a magical connection with a camera and a roll of 35mm film in 1998. My respect and love for photography has grown and evolved so much and in so many different ways since then. Most of the time it changes as a new season of life comes my way, or when I find magic while searching for the joy in the chaotic AWESOME life.
I don't like to box myself in to one type of portraiture. I don't want to specialize in just one thing. I want to work with as many people as I can and create life portraiture for AWESOME people.

If I were to ask you to name some of the best artistic collaborations of your lifetime, you would probably rattle off a few of these yourself. You could also name a few that didn't work so well. When done correctly, collaborations can change the way we see the world. They can tell a beautiful love story, they can give us the soundtrack of our youth. The can create the road map for a democratic nation. Collaboration is powerful when done well.
I knew early in my career that if I wanted to really make a different in my craft, if I wanted to be extra-ordinary, I couldn't do it alone. I learned this as an educator, an artist, and business owner.
Since 2013, my philosophy has been "better together". I've brought that to life through collaborations with other brands who have similar or complimentary identidites as MEP. Partners that share this philosophy and strive to offer a better service and experience to each client.
When asked where I get my best ideas, my answers aren't Oscar or Grammy winners. They aren't celebrated politicians or innovated masterminds, my examples are MEP + awesome people, no matter a client in front of my camera or a fellow business owner, I see the power of working togeher as partners in everyday life.
